Masterclasses on tech & careers
For students and young professionals ready to step into the industry.
- Breaking into cloud & DevOps
- AI and the future of work
- From graduate to team lead
Ten years in cloud hosting. Six of them leading the people who keep it running. Today I help teams perform at their best, students find their path in tech, and families grow strong — with God at the centre of it all.
Director, Customer Solutions
Infrastructure is only as good as the team behind it. I've worked both sides — hands-on at the support desk, and leading the managers, shifts and engineers who serve customers around the clock.
Ten years in cloud hosting taught me that customers don't buy servers — they buy confidence. I design solutions that give businesses, schools, hospitals and churches exactly that.
Virtualization, cloud infrastructure and bare-metal deployments, from small sites to enterprise workloads.
Pre-sales discovery and solution design for mid-market and enterprise clients, including private AI.
Learning portals for TVETs, secure cloud for healthcare, and streaming & member tools for faith-based organisations.
Growing partnerships with digital agencies, web studios and IT resellers across Kenya and East Africa.

Six years in management, and a lifetime's conviction: when you take care of your people, they take care of your customers.
Hands-on and in leadership. Service is a culture, not a department.
Leading technical and support teams that keep infrastructure healthy.
Rosters, handovers and escalation paths for sustainable 24/7 coverage.
Scouting engineers from campuses and industry, and spotting potential early.
Onboarding, coaching and training that grow tomorrow's team leads.
Finding what holds a team back, and fixing the process, not just the numbers.

I spend a lot of time behind a microphone — on campus, on stage and in the studio — talking about technology, careers, marriage and family.
Conferences, churches and youth gatherings, on success, faith and purpose.
For university and college students on tech careers, cloud and AI.
Hosting and guesting on tech, cloud, AI, marriage, family and parenting.
Interactive virtual and in-person sessions for tech communities.

What I bring. Years of keeping cloud platforms running and customers happy — and the people skills to make it last.
“Systems keep the lights on. People keep the promise. And God gives us a reason to keep going.”
— Simon Mugetha
Practical, honest, built to be acted on. Keynote speaker and masterclass host for universities, colleges, churches and companies across Kenya and East Africa.

For students and young professionals ready to step into the industry.

For churches, youth gatherings and couples' events.

For businesses, tech communities and support teams.
Listen in. A podcast on tech, cloud and AI — and on marriage, parenting and faith. Honest talk about the things that shape us.
On air
I sit down with engineers, founders, pastors, couples and young people to talk about what actually works, and why it matters.
I joined David Murimi on the OLITT Solopreneurs live broadcast for an open conversation with entrepreneurs and builders, taking questions from the live chat as we went.
Moments along the way. Snapshots from campuses, churches, studios and workshops.

Just give me the date. The same discipline that keeps a cloud online keeps a wedding on schedule. I plan and coordinate weddings, live concerts and conferences in Kenya, where every detail matters.

Calm coordination from the first meeting to the last dance, so the couple can simply be present.
Run-of-show, artist and vendor coordination, and crowd flow.
Tech meetups and campus forums that bring the right people into one room.
Gatherings for congregations and families, organised with care.
I'm Simon. I've spent over ten years in cloud hosting, starting hands-on in customer support and growing into leadership. For the last six years I've managed cloud and support teams — running shifts, hiring and developing talent, and finding the small changes that make a team perform.
Today I serve as Director, Customer Solutions at Truehost Cloud, where I represent the company across tech communities, universities and conferences, design solutions for enterprise clients, and grow our partner network across Kenya and East Africa.
Away from the data centre you'll find me behind a microphone — on my podcast, on a campus lawn, or on a church stage — talking about technology, careers, marriage and parenting. I also plan weddings and live events, because I love seeing people come together.
